If you feel like an abstract poem, this is a good way to create a poem. Just follow the steps: 1. Photocopy a page or two from any book that you can find. 2. Take a pencil and start scratching out words (on the photocopy please!). Don't find words to keep, find words by scratching the rest out. It's hard to do, but once you master it you can find some really good word combinations for your poem. 3. Once you have finished, take a separate sheet of paper (or your computer) and write down all of the words you left alone. You can use any line spacing you want. 4. After you write/type up all your words, you should have a poem. Whether it makes sense or not is up to you.
