Hid behind the oak tree in the garden; Tell me what you see. I see a chubby, fat boy, His pig eyes squeezed tight, Counting "25, 24, 23..." I giggle and hide Behind the tree. He'll never find me.
I see a dark building looming Over me. Kids walk up nervously to the door, Waiting for another hard day of work. They have no escape plan for now; The worried looks tell all. My secret beloved walks by, Talking to his friends and Doesn't notice me. I blush and hide behind the tree.
I see two lovers, Holding hands, Walking, Talking, Laughing. They kiss passionately; Oh how cute it is! Look at how we've grown.
I see a vegetable patch. My husband is admiring my work. He smiles. I breathe easy and soon fall asleep, proud of my Work.
I see a gravestone. Dead roses lie on the cold ground. "Beloved friend, adored son, loved husband." We've lived a good life together.
Hide behind the oak tree in the garden; Tell me what you see.
