What you have to do is create an OC (original character), describe all its features, and compare it to everyone else's to see if it's a Mary Sue (the perfect, skinny, troubled past and beautiful girl).

And also refrain from using words such as "tomboy" and "girly" *STABS THE CLICHENESS*

I know cliche is bad, but sometimes it is good to have cliche, just so you can relate to something. But in this case, not so much.

Cliche shall always be bad. There are ways to relate without it being overused.

You shouldn't overdo it though. Otherwise it gets too extreme.

Yeah, I guess. I'm really against cliches, though. They exist for a raisin. *Ahem* A REASON.

It has nothing for anyone to build on. Deal.
I have this OC, her name's Crystal and she's in FOP (Fairly Odd Parents). She wished one day from her godfather that she could be a fairy, but the godfather totally messed up and was destroyed in the process, so she remained a fairy for 50 years. Then Cosmo and Wanda find her and take her to Timmy's house, where they fall in love (obviously). But she gets turned back into a human and is adopted by this family in Oregon, so she'll never see Timmy again. Ever. As in story done. Her weight differs from a little overweight to unhealthily skinny depending on her current situation. She wears this elf dress. Don't ask me why. And her hair is really plain and jagged at the edges.
Mary Sueish anyone?
